How do I install 1.6.4 FTB or Technic mod pack on my Minecraft Server? Друк

This is a brief guide to show you how to setup a mod pack, such as Feed the Beast or Tekkit onto your Minecraft server. Please review our FTP Connection Guide first as you'll need to use FTP to upload the server files.

  1. Download your favorite mod pack, you can download Feed the Beast server packs here and Tekkit ones here.
  2. Once you've downloaded the mod pack that you want to use on your server, unzip the files to your desktop.
  3. Here's what the extracted files should look like: <Image> These may vary depending on the mod pack you chose.
  4. Delete the "ServerStart.bat" and "ServerStart.sh" files, we won't be needing these.
  5. Rename the current server .Jar file to "ftbserver.jar". Typically mod pack server .Jar files are named "FTBServer-1.6.4-XXX.jar" by default, if it's Tekkit it will usually be "Tekkit.jar". We need to rename the .Jar file to "ftbserver.jar", this will allocate more PermGen memory which is needed to use certain mod packs. This is what your directory should look like now: <Image>
  6. Now everything is ready to be uploaded to your Minecraft server through an FTP client. Check out FTP Connecion Guide above if you don't know how to connect using FTP, we recommend the "FileZilla Client" for FTP.
  7. Once you've connected to your servers FTP using the details found in the "Files" -> "FTP File Access" area of Multicraft, upload the server files for the mod pack that you downloaded. I'm using the Direwolf20 FTB mod pack in this guide, so this is how the uploaded files should look on your server: <Image>
  8. Now we'll need to go into the Multicraft control panel and change the .Jar file that the panel will use when starting the server. Go to your server page and scroll down t owhere it has the text field named "JAR File", this is where we'll need to manually type in "ftbserver.jar". <image>
  9. After you've changed the JAR File field, scroll to the bottom of the page and click the "Save" button.
  10. Now you can click the "Start" button at the top of the page to start your Minecraft server with the mod pack running on it. It should work fine, and generate the neccessary library files to run. If all goes well, you can connect to your server now using the modded client that is required for the mod pack server.

If you run into issues, feel free to submit a technical support ticket and we can setup a mod pack for you, free of course.
